Pure Sadism

What is a 'pure sadist'? I would imagine that more than a few would consider it to be a kind of ego boosting "my sadism's better than your sadism" kind of tripe. There are many forms of sadism in my opinion. I will brush over a couple and explain what I mean by 'pure sadism'. I'm not being an elitist snob, honest! But I do have a specific in mind, and I KNOW that I'm not the only one to play this way. Let me explain...

Perhaps the most common form of consensual sadist is the sexual sadist. Sexual sadists who become aroused sexually by inflicting pain on others and need to satiate this sexual urge. They are aware of these feelings and revel in it (who can blame them!). They either gain satiation within the agreed scene, or afterwards. 

Others are sadists with something to prove. The trophy sadists. The ones who want to boast that their sub took more than the next, or that they are more hardcore than the next. Very often these are afflicted with the firm belief they are a blessing from Anath herself, with no grasp of the passion or respect that such an exchange deserves. They may be highly skilled and/or practised in some arts, however, their technique will be repetitious and uninspired. They do not engage in the same manner with their submissive, and so their performance remains 'text book perfect' without the passion of responsiveness to provide adaptability. It is frankly all about posture and pissing up a wall.

However, for others, once in full sadistic swing sexual contact can be an irritant. Why be bothered with such a 'mundane' thing as mere sex, when there is THIS?! All there is for someone in this state is THIS....THIS action....THIS moment of "I wonder"....THIS fascination...THIS moment - to be as fully in the present as is humanly possibly...THIS absolute focus. For a sadist like this a sexual advance is an irritation, a distraction. An intrusion into a more 'spiritual' experience of sadism I suppose...it's hard to reduce to words. Biological responses go unnoticed. There is no clamouring for attention from any erogenous zones, because they can not be heard above the screaming silence that is THIS. And on the other side of THIS? It's soooo fantastically languid it's impossible to describe. Time ceases to have any meaning and it slips through your fingers like liquid. Now THIS is where the sadism is an end to itself. 

A 'pure sadism' is one that is apart from calculated kudos, sexual drive and urge; although these last are tools to be used to torment others with - evil grin! It is born from a place where the focus is so absolute there is nothing else. Essentially dom/me space without the sex! :) 

Now do you see why you need to be a masochist? :-D
