Skin care for 'special' girls

It's no secret that I am the Owner of one t-girl and friend to others. In response to many questions covering the same area I've decided to blog about a few common areas :) Today is the basics for good make-up, skin care.

The key to lasting and good make-up is excellent skin care. Special girls have additional needs that sometimes need to be addressed discretely. Well moisturised skin is the key here but it's not always easy to get away with it. Fortunately these days male grooming is more common, with male (more expensive) moisturisers everywhere including the supermarket shelf. The first sneaky swap is to buy female moisturiser because "it's more cost effective" (look for fragrance free if you don't want to share your personal life with work colleagues!). The other thing to do is to apply moisturiser before your shaving foam when you shave your face as well as afterwards. This will not only give you a smoother shave but a significantly softer skin texture. And your other half will love not getting a snog rash from your lovely soft skin! Give this a week and you will see a significant difference, making your make-up go on better and last longer

Twistedly,
Mistress

  1. Greasy skin: it's a mistake to think you should avoid moisturising greasy skin. Use a decent face wash (I personally rarely use soap on My face EVER), and then follow with a toner (to remove every last trace of wash/cleanser) and then moisturise. Different moisturisers are formulated for different skin types, so make sure you get one suitable for you. Some makes even include matt finish moisturisers (e.g. Nivea)
