House Twisted Update

I've been silent for some time, and although things remain difficult within My family I wanted to post a brief update for everyone who has been waiting so patiently.

Sadly in December (literally the eve of starting My new vanilla job) I received a phone call from My family in London to advise Me that two key family members had fallen very ill, My Mother and Aunt both being diagnosed with cancer within weeks of each other. Several surgeries (one on My eldest daughter's 21st birthday!) and a battery of tests later and the picture looked a little better. Alterations to long term plans have had to be considered as I have a responsibility to My Matriarchal family structure, and duty to the current "Queen" of the family (aka supporting My Grandmother!). And yes, this means I am considering relocation in a Southerly direction in the UK!

I am delighted to say that My Aunt (who I love to bits) is doing a LOT better now and is recovering well from her surgery. However, My mother remains exceptionally ill and seems to be deteriorating - having suffered a mild stroke last week. This new development means that I will remain difficult to contact for a while longer. It also means I wont be bothering with Facebook etc as I have insufficient patience to endure such a childish environment at this time. I can still be found on MySpace, CollarMe, Informed Consent etc. if you need to contact Me, but be aware that I rarely have time go on line at the moment.

It is likely that I will not return to My more normal contact levels for some time, and I have obviously suspended all Pro-Domme work for the time being. Thank you each and every one who has offered their support and caring recently. Special mention goes to those who have shown so much understanding, patience and loyalty - Trinket, Twisted Behaviour, Brighteyes, Beast, mara and of course dear Toy who is facing his own challenges. A deeply profound "thank you" belongs to Velvet; although things are stressful he has made each and every day that little bit easier and My burden that little bit lighter. Without Velvet this would have been much harder to handle, both emotionally and practically.

I hope very much that you are all well and enjoying your extra day away from mundane duties... but I'd put money on you lot not using it to watch the Royal Wedding! ;)
Twistedly,
Mistress x
